This record was the first time that all the brothers were able to input some of their best skills in a set of songs collectively while pulling from an era of music that might have been the most formative: the 90s. Adam’s song writing sensibilities were already grounded in rock structure, and Vince was able to take those acoustic demos and shape them into rock songs with a Grunge flare. In post production, since Ernie and Vince had a thousand 90s records already mapped into their cognitive structure, mixing and mastering was seamless.
